To feel daring is have momentum in the face of uncertainty. Its message is for you is to move through discomfort, not blindly, but using your depth of knowledge, strength, and resourcefulness to help lead you towards an illuminating and exhilarating outcome. It is both a test of fortitude and a beckoning forward. Daring, announces it is time to embrace a bit of boldness. It means there is an adventure to be had, a leap to be made, and something to be gained. No matter the outcome, the Daring card reminds us there are always lessons to learn from every wild experience.
{Playful}
{Playful} The essence of this card is pure and simple, fun… lighthearted, silly... an exhilarating and adventuresome romp! Feeling playful calls in whimsy, and the inner child. This is a sense emotion, one rooted in the gut. Do not overthink. Do not over plan. Do not judge. Just go with what delights and brings a smile! Playful is part sparkle, part humor, and all happiness. It invokes laughter and imagination and a sense of unfettered joy. This energy is needed when things get too serious or stuck. It's an easy shift of energy that also brightens your heart and your day. This card might also be asking you to explore new ways of doing things, and is a positive, child-like catalyst for curiosity and creative action. Shake loose, get messy, run wild.
{Fear}
{Fear} Feeling fear is a natural part of living, especially in this season of gathering darkness. It helps us to discover our boundaries, feel our limitations and find ways to stay safe and also move beyond them. Fear can be expansive. The tricky part is knowing the difference between what is truth and what fears are a story. Even fictional fear can shut us down in very real ways. This card is a teacher or a trickster, but it is always the companion of a seeking spirit. There is no way around it. It is not something you eventually overcome, but as you practice moving through fear more and more you become more familiar with the sensation of discomfort. This card wants us to honor and act in spite of it so that we may be empowered by our choices and not be controlled by this intense emotion. Underneath fear there is always a truth to be uncovered.
{Joy}
{Joy} Joy can be effervescent and overflowing, and deeply rooted and sacred. It is a sense of abundance, happiness, fun, and truth all rolled into one. It is grounded in what is, an emotion that is utterly in the present moment. Feeling joy can lead to spontaneous dancing, or it may be that slow smile that spreads across your face like sunshine. Its energy sinks in and down as much as it wants to burst outward and be unleashed. Joy is a visceral kind of connectedness, and a wild kind of happy. This card is leading you in search of joy... joy in the moment, joy in what is directly in front of you. Similar to playful, there might be a certain spontaneity to it, but ultimately joy is rooted more in the internal, rather than anything external. Your joy is found in true alignment with your Inner Alchemy.
{Restless}
{Restless} Restlessness happens when we need a shift in energy. It is ever present in these changing times of year. It's a sign that movement is needed and about to take place. It can be an inward pull that is a lack of grounding when we have strayed too far off our own path, and a settling back in becomes necessary. Or it might feel like awkwardness in our own skin, the kind that often comes before new growth and getting ready to shed. A restless feeling could be also be caused by a more outward pull, a reflection of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It is an emotion that is telling us a change in direction is needed, even if just a subtle leaning one-way or the other. It might be an aching for something new or a someplace else, and a seeking of better alignment in the moment. This card is asking you to tune into the message of your restless yearnings.
{Confident}
{Confident} Yes! You are amazing! Unique, beautiful, wise, powerful! Feeling confident is knowing what the next step is despite any challenges as well as not knowing what the final outcome ultimately might be. Confidence is letting go of expectations as much as it is gaining the wisdom and knowledge to move in the best direction. It is trust and momentum and self knowledge working together. This card wants you to find certainty in what you know. Dig deep and honor all that you've learned and all that you've experienced. Acknowledge that you are the one person who truly understands your Self the best. Take power and strength from acting in flow with this self-knowing. Doing so will always validate your abilities, and will also teach you what else there is to learn to gain more confidence.
{Envy}
{Envy} The feeling of envy is a compelling one. It's a double edged blade that tells the story of something we deeply desire and also something we fear we can not possess. This is a powerful emotion that pushes us into uncomfortable places, but it can be a great teacher and provide lots of insight should you allow it. The trick is to listen to what envy has to tell us, what work it is bringing up for us, and to not get consumed by the negative response. This card wants us to be in our jealous feelings without letting them shut us down. Otherwise unchecked, envy can lead to outward hostility and projecting our negative emotions onto other people. Envy is an emotion we must own and endeavor to understand. It is a root feeling that is much more about what we fear we lack than it is about what someone else might possess. Delve into working with this card with a bit of gentles and a wide open heart. Find the flow in envy so that it does not block you from connecting with your truest self.
{Sorrow}
{Sorrow} Sorrow gives rise to tears and is a deeply complex and watery emotion. It's a saltwater cleans, a purge, a river of power and truth that helps to keep the channel clear. Sorrow is never meant to be held on to. Honored, yes, dammed, no. You can only contain the waves of sorrow for so long before the pressure becomes too much. Be with this card with tenderness and light. If you are not in a place of sorrow, be careful not to invite it in. We can contemplate its value without opening the door to its energy. If you are holding onto feelings of sadness, then use this card to help guide you through, allowing this emotion to follow its path however it is meant to. Let it move through you and carry with it the debris that needs washing away during this watery season.

{Content} The feeling of content is a moment of absolute ease and presence... there’s nothing needed to add or fix or change. We get to feel whatever emotion we need to feel. It is being grounded in your here and now and sinking in. There is no work to do, nothing to adjust, only the task of simply being. Content is quietly joyful and a calm sense of enough-ness. It is knowing and accepting and trusting and allowing. There is no judgment alongside this emotion. This card invites you to explore your ways of rooting inward. Look to what adds stability and harmony that creates a climate for contentedness in your life. Are you honoring your body's rhythms and needs? Are you attuned to your strengths and setting yourself up for success instead of failure? What can you give yourself that will move you towards a more contented feeling? Only when we are deeply rooted, can we truly bend and flow.

{Luminous} Feeling luminous is a sense of oneness.... being lit up from within and connected to all that is you and all that is source. It is spirit rising through you and connecting you to all that came before and all that is yet to be. This card is asking you to shine! Follow the breadcrumb trail of all the things that light you up and make you vibrate with energy and momentum. Listen to that tug and allow it to blossom in your life in ways that provide opportunities to share your gifts with others. Whether it's making art, teaching, writing, or any other purposeful endeavor, this is where your most luminous self will shine through, even as the days shorten and the external light is waning. You are luminous always.
