As always this supplies list is for your reference and curiousity only, there is no need to rush out and buy all these new supplies (unless, of course, your are an art supplies junkie and are looking for an excuse- you are not alone my friend)- use what you have on hand and if something tweaks your interest then maybe explore it further.

If you want to paint along with Emma as she does, here are the supplies:

Materials for the first project- Solidarity:
Large pre stretched canvas 50x70cm/20x 28 inch aprox
White gesso
Scruffy brush (or any large brush to apply the gesso)
Water spray bottle
Paper towels
Hair dryer
Paint scraper (from DIY store) or similar (ice scraper, credit card etc)

Acrylic paint Amsterdam Prussian blue, turquoise green, pyrole red, azo orange, Naples yellow green, titanium white, Titanium Buff Deep (a putty colour), raw sienna, black or Paynes Grey (for tiny detail)

Black charcoal pencil
Pastel fixative
Palette ( paper sheets or a plastic plate etc)
Water pot

Brushes
Flat edge
1.5 inch
1/2 inch
1/4 inch (aprox sizes depending on the size of your substrate)

Brayers - 2 inch Speedball (optional)

Materials for the Second Project- Bubbles
Large pre stretched canvas aprox 50x70cm (20 x 27 inches)
White pre mixed gesso
Large brush to apply gesso
Hair dryer
Speed ball brayer aprox 4 inches. A paint roller would work too.

Acrylic paint Amsterdam turquoise green, pyrole red, Naples yellow green, titanium white, Titanium Buff Deep (a putty colour), black or Paynes Grey (for tiny detail), Greenish blue, raw sienna, azo orange,

Vallejo quinacridone violet (or a deep purple pink)

Old credit card
Water spray
Paper palette sheets
Paper towels
Fixative
Black charcoal pencil
1.5 inch flat edge brush
1/2 inch flat edge brush
1/4 inch flat edge brush
