I am so excited to bring you with me on a journey through the seasons to inspire you to find you own creative flow.
The class is all about following the flow of your own seasons or cycles. I was filming the class over a period of one year and it really made me aware of how my creativity shifts through the year. My creativity is moving through different stages and I have tried to catch them all with this class.
My hope is that I will inspire you to follow your own cycles or flows and give you tools to be creative in a very relaxed and simple way. I am encouraging you to bring your art supply with you to create in different places to help new inspiration to find you.

Week 1 - Spring
Get excited! It’s time to explore and listen to your inner artist. It is time to prepare for the new inspiration to hit you. I will show you how to make a set of grungy art cards by pulling together recycled materials. We will focus on the act of making, rather than creating a perfect piece of art. You’ll see how I use different types of material to create effects and add detail and colour without focusing on the outcome.
The art cards and techniques will help you uncover how to:
let go of your inner criticism and get into the flow, and
find freedom to explore what feels good in the moment.
By the end of this week, you’ll have the start of your inspiration cards, ready to build on!
Week 2 - Summer
During week 2 we will catch that energy and let it inspire us. We will create out and about and really make sure we can go with the flow of energy. I will show you ways to make sure you dare to start and ways to make sure you do not get stuck or blocked.
By the end of this week, you’ll be itching to take your cards with you to your favourite spots, so you can add something unique to them from a place that gives you energy and inspires you, to be able to catch that unique inspiration when it hits you.
Week 3 - Autumn
It is now time to harvest the inspiration that we have grown during spring and summer. During this week I get inspired by the cards that we have been making during spring and summer and there are two cards that are really sticking out. They are different and they really call for my attention. I have a really good feeling and want to go with that calling and create a canvas inspired by these two cards.
During week 4 you will follow me creating a soulful mixed media portrait step-by-step and I will tell you all my tips and tricks for staying in the flow through the process and create a piece of art full of depth and details.
Week 4 - Winter
Week 4 is about reflection and listening inwards. I will create a journal from some of the cards and add cards both to an old book and to the journal. I hope you will be inspired to make your own journal or add to an existing book. You will become in tune with your own inner artist as you watch and listen to my process of experimentation. Allow yourself to be open. Give yourself permission to focus on parts that inspire you and bring you joy and peace while you’re making. This is where you’ll find confidence in expressing yourself in a way that’s unique to you. It’s okay to add and take away as you work and it is ok to make ugly art just for the sake of spending the time creating.
