Illuminated Lunary- Classwork Showcase

I am absolutely thrilled at the inspiring creations so many participants of The Illuminated Lunary have shared! The moon speaks to us all in such varied ways, and seeing a little piece of these artist’s hearts and intentions in the beauty they have created is a powerful thing.

I am so grateful for the generosity of spirit that is in the sharing your work, and for the inspiration for myself as well as other participants. Taking time to be present and create with intention for both yourself, to share, and in honouring of something so inherently moving and central to our daily (nightly!) lives as the moon is potent and important work. Thank you to those who have been a part of the workshop, and if you are wondering what it might be like, take a look at some of the beautiful work below!

Illuminated Lunary was truly magical.  I was so inspired by the mediums, and will definitely be using them in my work in the future.  It opened a whole other world for me!  The entire project was a soulful experience, which is so what art is about.  Thank you, Natalie!  Hoping for more like this soon!  ~

Although it focused on creating mini booklet honouring the magic and beauty of moon, but it dives far deeper into research - exploring myths and folklores from around the world.

Natalie is a wonderful teacher, how beautifully she explains every process on how to transform any artwork into something magical with a mindful research and exploration.

For someone like me who believe in art, magic and myths this workshop is miraculously meditative.

Illuminated Lunary is an enchanting class that will immerse you in the cycles of the moon. Natalie is an amazingly talented artist who will guide you through the process of creating this treasured booklet. You’ll learn her techniques for sketching, watercolor, and adding gold foil to your work. I loved this class and you will too!

I can't tell you how much your class did for me on a personal level.  Everything about it was unknown and new to me and along the way i discovered that I can do things I never thought possible.  Drawing animals, painting, gold leaf, having inspiration come to me and to have a completed piece of work that has meaning to me with beautiful quotes from my most amazing example of humanity, Michael Jackson is beyond amazing.  It has freed me to try other things and I now know there is no limits on who or what I can become.   Thank you so much for that class, I know you put many hours into the preparation of it and I'm so glad you did!

I’m a visual poet working in just about any medium I can lay my hands on although I am a professionally trained photographer and a so called “self-taught” artist (of course there have been many teachers on that path). I’m in love with the creative process. I’m a beauty unveiler, light huntress, moment caresser and visionary poetess. Ultimately, all of my work is about helping people peel back the layers to experience the intense beauty of each moment allowing access to both their intuitive wisdom and a deeper connection to spirit and self. (Because the beauty of this life cracks our hearts open and it is through the cracks that light can flow both in and out and connect us back to our divine selves) That is what I do and I do it through photography, art, journaling and teaching. I live in the insanely beautiful Blue Mountains, just shy of Sydney, with my family, our cat and all the winged ones who frequent our garden. Each day here is a wondrous delight of tiny miracles through either the glorious light or magical mists. I would love to work with you, have a look around and see where you are called...
